    The
    Description:
    We recently acquired
    several large crates of obsolete US coins from a local
    collector that
    fell on hard
    times. Rather than separate all the silver, copper and
    nickel coins like
    we have
    in our other listed auctions, we decided to sell these
    off exactly as they
    came in.
    These mixed denomination obsolete US coins are
    now being offered here for your consideration in large 1/2 pound units
    (lots). These lots are being sold exactly as
    we purchased them totally unsearched by us. I was guaranteed by the
    previous
    owner that all coins date prior to 1961. A bit skeptical myself, we did
    check a few random handfuls and it appears the information was correct
    (nothing past 1960
    was found)!
    In the samples, we observed coins
    dating all the way back to the late 1800’s and
    early 1900’s up to 1960. All denominations were present from cents to
    dollars.
    Many of the coins are in surprisingly nice condition considering they
    are ALL
    50 to 100+ years old!
    As we want to make this much better than a typical
    “treasure hunt” we will offer
    a few guarantees as listed below!
    Each
    And Every Lot Is Guaranteed To Contain:
    ♦ Half Pound (8 full ounces) of U.S. coins dating prior to
    1961 from crates shown ♦
    ♦ At least Three ounces of the 8 ounce lot will be solid 90% silver
    coins ♦
    ♦ Mix of all coin denominations from cents to halves ♦
    ♦ On average each lot will contain 50 to 60 Coins (based on samples) ♦
    ♦ At least One 80+ year old US silver dollar in every third lot
    purchased ♦
    To receive your guaranteed silver dollar, your three lots must be purchased all
    at the same time as we have no way of keeping track of past purchases.

    do not ask for specific dates as this
