12″ German straw doll
Here is a 12″ German doll in her original dress.  She has a paper mache composition style painted head and shoulder bust that is stamped “Germany”.  She has a straw filled fibre body with cloth arms and sewn thumb hand. She has pin jointed arms.She wears her old socks that have some holes in them. Her dress is in good condition with just light staining, fading and needs a button sewn on back to close. The back of her head contains remnants of an old mohair wig still glued on.  She has some markings on her lips and nose that we did not try to wash off. the nose tip looks like a paint rub. She could use a professional cleaning but is an amazing doll for your collection.
