    • Antique Victorian Double Inkwell With Quill Holder 1800’s. Condition is “Used”. Very old cast iron double inkwell is black with antique gold color accent. Glass inkwells are clear, thick, and heavy. There are NO chips, NO cracks, or ANY rough areas. Inkwells are 2 1/2 X 2 1/2 – 2” high. One weighs 13.3 oz and the other weighs 12.8oz – thick & heavy. Cast iron holder is 5 1/2” X 9” and 4” high to top of quill holder. Behind quill holder reads PAT Oct 19, 1880 and PAT’D Nov 12, 1878. Underneath bottom front reads PAT’D Nov 12, 1878. There is a screw in the back part of the quill holder and has very small areas with any rust color. Please look pictures over closely.
