As an Authorized Dealer for Mosser Glass, I present this beautiful Labrador Retriever dog figurine,
produced by Mosser Glass, of Cambridge, Ohio.
We sell three versions of this same dog, this is the BLACK OPAQUE version.
If you look at my other eBay offerings, you will likely also see this dog in “Jadeite” and “Marigold Carnival”. (I purposely did not blend the listings so all photos can be included.)
This precious pup stands 4 1/4″ tall.
He is made of solid glass (not hollow), and has a lovely smooth finish.
What a beautiful addition to a glass collection, or as an extraordinary gift for any dog lover!
My brother uses his “Opaque Black” Lab on his desk as a paperweight.
Mosser Glass has been producing pressed glass in the traditional methods since 1970.
Three generations of the Mosser family have designed their own molds, and have also obtained original glass molds from Fenton, Cambridge, Viking, L.G. Wright, and other well-known sources, now long gone.
Mosser Glass is AMERICAN-MADE, unlike much of the Jadeite currently being produced in China and other offshore countries, then sold in large stores.
If you are an antique/vintage glass collector, there is no shame in blending authentic American-made Mosser Glass creations into your collection. Mosser Glass possesses all the beauty of its American glass ancestors.
CONDITION: New, never used, in mint condition. No scratches, chips, cracks, or repairs.
