    Gold value of each coin is approximately $15.50  (see calculation below).
    Original invoice from 1980’s  shows these costing $38 each.
    In order to determine the amount of gold for each coin I opened the package for the England “SPADE” GUINEA
    miniature gold coin.   The weight was 0.46 grams.  This equates to 0.268g pure gold weight (0.46 x 58.3% for 14K).
    The value of 0.268 grams pure gold based at $1800 per troy ounce calculates to $15.5/coin =  0.268g/31.1g/troy ounce x $1800.
    Of course this assumes all coins are of the same weight which is highly likely.
