    Nice Dresden lace style miniature porcelain figurine of a Colonial / Georgian gentleman sitting in a chair. Hand painted with a block coat with purple lining, yellow waist coat with gold gilt highlights, brown pants and black shoes. The chair is purple with gold gilt highlights. He has brown hair and Dresden style lace cravat at his neck and cuffs at his wrist. Marked on the bottom in underglaze blue. This mark was used by the
    Aelteste Volkstedter Porcelain Factory between 1915 and 1945.
    Has some loss to the lace which is typical of this type of decoration, and the tips of his fingers are missing.
    Measures approximately 1 1/4 inches wide x 2 1/4 inches tall.
    Vintage items may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
