    What a wonderful opportunity to get a Wiltrud Stein limited edition porcelain and cloth  baby.  THIS DOLL IS MADE  BY WILTRUD STEIN IT IS NOT A PRODUCTION DOLL.
    Flo is such a darling  9” baby dressed in an adorable cotton and knit baby outfit. The porcelain  mold  is made by Wiltrud  in a small edition of only 20 pieces. She is # 2/20 with her signed COA. She comes with her blanket and her handmade bunny.
    She is from the Wiltrud Artist Collection of 2003.
    The porcelain features are all hand painted and Wiltrud dolls are known to be one of the most lifelike small babies.  She is  9″ with a mohair wig with a all fine cotton and knit  outfit with  a bunny on it. The porcelain is sanded so finely and the details of the painted eyes is extraordinary to accomplish  in such a small size.
    Wiltrud is one of the very few who works in this small scale with porcelain dolls.  The head arms and tiny feet that show each tiny toe are all porcelain. The body that Wiltrud creates  is made of cloth and is known in German as a little Puppet or Hemplechen.  Wiltrud places a string inside the body that can be pulled to pose the baby doll.  See photo of the string pull that makes the baby move to pose it.
    This doll is completely made by the artist it is NOT a mass  production doll.
    The COA signed by Wiltrud Stein comes with the baby. Once you own a Wiltrud Stein artist doll you will know the perfection and search for others by this fine artist.
